Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer as well as an animal rights activist. She has been acclaimed for films like Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) and The Getaway, (1972). She was raised by an artistic family in New York and wanted to explore a career in the artistic fields. The first job she had was an assistant to photographers. She then moved on to modeling and acting. The award she received was the Golden Globe Award, for the most promising debutant. MacGraw quickly became famous after the 1970 hit film Love Story. She was selected for an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three films, she received the title of top female box-office debut around the globe. Her footprints from 1972 as well as autograph was inscribed on the wall at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television series The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, was released. MacGraw was married three times.
