Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is a well-known American cook book writer and Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which began in 2002 and has aired 27 seasons till 2020. Ina started writing policy and nuclear energy documents for the White House. Although she initially found the position fascinating and intellectually stimulating, she soon became bored. Barefoot Contessa was then acquired. It took her 18 years to make her shop hugely successful, and then closed it. She then began to write her first cookbook. A number of other books and magazines followed. She also appeared on the Food Network TV show also was launched which was an enormous hit. She also sells a range of product from cooking ingredients to equipment and storage containers. Ina has never been to any cookery school or employed in a restaurant, and is completely self-taught. She is a simple cook and for her entertaining manner. Her most popular recipes include the lemon chicken that she grills in a skillet as well as Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and the Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
