April Bowlby, an American model and actress from the United States. She is well known for her role as Kandi and Stacy Barrett from Drop Dead Diva as well as Rita Farr and Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby has a long history in American acting. Her most famous roles include Stacy Barrett, in Drop Dead Diva (a legal comedy/fantasy TV show) as well as Kandi, as Kandi in Two and a Half Men. She started her career with modeling and moved into films and television shows. Her first appearance on small screen was as an extra in the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and was followed by appearances on a single episode in different series. Her breakout role was Kandi as Kandi in Two and a Half Men. Bowlby is famous throughout the world for the role she played as Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva. She was the main character of Rita Farr/Elastigirl in the American web-based show Titans. In a spin-off series of Doom Patrol, she will take on the role. Bowlby is also well-known by her TV appearances in Sands of Oblivion (a TV film) and The Wrong Daughter. Her first big screen appearance was in All Roads Lead Home. Later, she was in films like The Slammin Salmon, and From Prada To Nada. She studied with Ivana Chaubbuck. She was offered an appearance on a TV program (Kandi, Two and a Half Men) just a few months after the Hollywood audition. Bowlby has appeared on a number of TV series, including CSI in 2004. She also appeared on CSI: NY in 2005, Freddie and Freddie in 2005, as Sydney as Sydney, and How I Met Your Mother in 2007 in the role of Meg. Bowlby's most recent role was Natasha as a 12 year old girl that lost her mother due to an automobile accident. Bowlby will be in the upcoming 2008 comedy film The Slammin Salmon as Mia. The actress lives in Los Angeles. Naturally red-haired, she is blue-eyed. She's single with no children.
